HOBOKEN, N.J.,  January 29, 2025 — Pearson (FTSE: PSON.L), the world’s lifelong learning company, and Giunti Psychometrics, a global leader in scientific psychometrics and mental health technology, today announced a new exclusive agreement for Giunti Psychometrics to distribute, adapt, and localize Pearson’s Spanish-language clinical assessments and tools across  Spanish-speaking Latin America. The collaboration expands access to culturally relevant, locally validated clinical assessments that align with each market’s scientific, clinical, and regulatory standards and helps address the region’s growing need for mental health support.

This agreement builds on both companies’ longstanding commitment to providing clinicians, schools, health care systems and government institutions with world-class, evidence-based assessments.  Together, Pearson Clinical Assessment and Giunti Psychometrics bring nearly 150 years of combined expertise and a shared reputation for delivering fair, valid assessments trusted by clinicians to support their clients’ learning, well-being, and development.

Meeting a Growing Mental Health Need in Latin America

Across Latin America, demand for high-quality clinical assessments, mental health software, and integrated clinical technology platforms is accelerating. According to the United Nations Development Programme, one in four people in the region will experience a mental health disorder in their lifetime, and rates of anxiety and depression are rising faster than global averages.

Assessments that Set the Global Standard

Among the assessments covered by the partnership are the WAIS-5, the gold standard for measuring adult cognitive ability; the WPPSI-IV, a child-friendly tool designed to assess early intellectual development; and the Bayley-4, a widely used developmental scale that evaluates cognitive, language, and motor milestones in infants and toddlers. Together, these assessments provide comprehensive insights across the life span, supporting accurate diagnosis and tailored interventions.

Key Benefits of the Agreement

Giunti Psychometrics will begin distributing Pearson’s U.S. Spanish‑language assessments in February, with localized versions for Latin American markets to follow. To learn more about Pearson Clinical Assessment, visit https://www.pearsonassessments.com/.
